This is with regard to removal of AC Chair Car from 12639/40 Brindavan Express, and making it a 24 coaches train with 6 reserved coaches.
It is unfortunate that such a prestigious train once, is reduced to a Janatha Express!!
I would blame SR for Brindavan Express's humiliation - first they introduced too many stops, slowed down to 58 Kmph, then introduced DD just around the same time and forcing Brindavan loyal passengers to go by DD, delaying the departure to 07.50, removing CC and now, making it almost a unreserved train!!!

Every coin has two side!!
The D Class & General Coach too get heavily packed as in demand & IR dont find any way earlier to negotiate these non-AC crowd, as deletion of CC gonna put pressure to cater AC Traveler & Non-AC demand upsurge limitless!!
With DD on the cards, IR got the chance to negotiate Non AC & AC Traveler, without compromising on AC/D/Gen Coaches reduction in any both trains!!

Perfectly agree with you. To make a look feel for the DD success, they have reduced the AC coaches of this wonderful piece.

I'm also a fan of Brindavan and we have to see the positives. Brindavan AC pax now have the option of arriving SBC or MAS earlier than the usual time as they'll prefer DD now(agreed DD will not give the same comfort level) and with the change in composition, we can expect much lesser unreserved crowd in 2S. Its a smart move by SR as far as revenue is concerned.
i too agree with u sir. remove the name and get a new train with LHB rakes and nice TT for brindavan.
As per my previous blog posts, i suggest sr to intorduce a new intercity train between MAS-SBC, Starting by 7.05am from Mas and reach SBC by 12.45pm, with limited number of stops, in reverse let it start at 2.50pm and reach MAS by 8.30pm..................It should stop only at ajj-kpd-jtj-bwt-bnc-sbc...And brindavan non AC version should start at 11am from mas and reach sbc by 6pm, if ac coaches are removed, e1 the sf status should be removed and should be named as a brindavan fast passenger with 2s coaches.......Renumber it as 52639/52640.............
