Bypassing SC through SNF-MLY line can be considered in the future, but right now, there are very few passing trains at SC compared to terminating trains. Diverting these few passing trains won't make any difference, and is not even necessary.
Major congestion at SC is due to terminating trains occupying platforms for a long duration and blocking the lines during shunting. What is required is a new terminus for originating trains or reorganizing the existing trains to use different terminals to reduce congestion.
