is being conducted in two parts, from Moradabad to Bareilly and Bareilly to Lucknow. The 328km section sees over 300 trains daily. The survey has determined that land acquisition will be needed in Rampur and Bareilly for the four-lane conversion. Before construction begins, headquarters has approved the conversion of the Ghaziabad-Lucknow railway line to an automatic block signal section. Work on this has already begun, which will involve installing a signal every 1.5km and closing most railway crossings. This railway line is being prepared for high-speed train operation.

Moradabad se Bareilly aur Bareilly se Lucknow tak do hisson mein survey kiya ja raha hai. 328 km ke is section se har din 300 se zyada trains guzarti hain. Survey mein paya gaya hai ki track ko four lane banane ke liye Rampur aur Bareilly mein zameen ke adhigrahan ki jarurat hogi. Is project par nirman shuru hone se pehle hi muख्यालय ne Ghaziabad-Lucknow railkhand ko automatic block signal section banane ki manzuri di hai. Is par kaam bhi shuru ho gaya hai. Is project ke tahat har dedh km par ek signal lagaya jayega. Zyaada tar rail fatakon ko band kar diya jayega. High speed trains ke sanchalan ke lihaaz se is railkhand ko taiyar kiya ja raha hai.
