The train also meets EN45545 HL3 fire safety standards and boasts an aerodynamic exterior. The Minister also inaugurated BEML's new 9.2-acre hangar facility dedicated to exporting standard and broad-gauge rolling stock. The event was attended by dignitaries including Shri V. Somanna, Minister of State for Railways; Shri Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO of the Railway Board; and Shri Shantanu Roy, Chairman & Managing Director of BEML. BEML, known for its six-decade legacy in rail manufacturing, has meticulously engineered the train with integrated critical systems like propulsion, HVAC, and safety components.
