The commercial department of the railway division conducted a one-month-long inspection campaign at Jabalpur station, taking action against 252 unauthorized vendors. They were handed over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) under sections of the Railway Act.
The railway will operate a weekly superfast special train between Kanpur Central and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (13 trips each way). The train will pass through Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna. The Kanpur Central-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus superfast weekly special train will depart from Kanpur Central at 15:25 every Friday from April 5th to June 28th, reaching Satna at 21:05, Katni at 22:20, Jabalpur at 23:30, and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14:55 the next day. The Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Kanpur Central train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17:15 every Saturday from April 6th to June 29th, reaching Itarsi at 02:55, Jabalpur at 06:15, Katni at 07:25, Satna at 08:40, and Kanpur Central at 15:45 the next day.
