Men caught in women-reserved coaches are penalized under section 162 of the Railways Act, with 145 cases and INR 25,500 in fines collected in 2023. Operation 'Nanhe Farishte,' which focuses on the protection of unaccompanied minors within railway premises, has rescued 81 girls and 325 boys in 2023.
