Monday, during a search of the Maurya Express (train number 15027), police seized thousands of rupees worth of domestic and imported liquor from an AC coach. The police received a tip-off about the smuggling operation. Upon reaching Madhupur, they found two unattended bags near the AC coach's toilet. Despite questioning passengers, no one claimed ownership. The bags contained 35 bottles of domestic liquor and 18 cans of beer. The seized liquor has been handed over to the Excise Department of Deoghar. However, the individuals involved in the illegal liquor trade managed to escape during the raid. The value of the seized liquor is estimated to be around six thousand rupees.

Somvaar ko, train number 15027, Maurya Express se Madhupur railway police ne AC bogi se hazaar rupees ki deshi aur videshi sharab seize ki hai. Prabhari rail thana prabhari, Birbal Ram ne bataya ki unhe gupt soochna mili thi ki illegal sharab ke dhandhebaaz Maurya Express se sharab taskar karke Bihar le ja rahe hain. Jab train Madhupur pahunchi, toh search operation ke dauraan AC bogi ke shouchalay ke paas se do bag laawaris avastha mein bamad hue. Shaunkh hone par yaatriyon se poochtaach ki gayi, par kisi ne uspar daava nahi kiya. Uske baad talashi ke kram mein ek bag mein 35 bottle deshi sharab aur doosre bag mein 18 piece can beer bamad ki gayi. Bataya gaya ki jabt sharab utpad vibhag Deoghar ko soup di gayi hai. Halanki chhaapamari ke kram mein sharab pakde jaane ke baad, mauke se illegal dhandha karne waale bhaag nikalne mein safal rahe. Jabt sharab ki kimat chhe hazaar rupees batayi gayi hai.
