However, this year, the Ministry of Railways, after canceling the train for 10 days, reversed its decision and allowed the train to operate again. This decision is considered a relief for middle-class families who depend on this train for affordable travel between Hatia and New Delhi. The train was originally canceled from December 4th (upward journey) and December 5th (downward journey) and was scheduled to remain canceled until February 29th, 2024 (upward journey) and March 1st, 2024 (downward journey). However, the South Eastern Railway issued a letter on December 13th, stating that the train would resume operations on December 14th (upward journey) and December 15th (downward journey).

din baad, apne decision mein sanshodhan karte hue, Rail Mantriyalay ne Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express ke punah parichalan ka nirnay liya hai. Bata dein ki Hatia se bhaya Barkakana-Daltonganj hokar Nai Dilli tak safar ke liye gune chune train chalti hain. Madhyam vargiya parivaron ke liye Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express se safar karna aasan hota hai. Kiraya jahan kam lagta hai, wahi berth milne ki sambhavna bani rahti hai. Bawajood Railway har varsha kohre ka havala dekar Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express ko cancel kar deta tha. Hatia se Anand Vihar (Nai Dilli) tak chalne wali 12873-12874 Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express ko restore karne ka nirnay liya gaya hai. Bata dein ki kuhase ke karan Rail Board ki aur se up mein 4 December se evam down mein 5 December se is train ko cancel kar diya gaya tha. Up mein 29 February 2024 tak evam down mein 1 March 2024 tak train ko cancel kiya gaya tha. Is beech 13 December ko South Eastern Railway ki aur se jaari kiye gaye patra ke anusar up mein 14 December se, jabki down mein 15 December se Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express ko restore karte hue chalane ka nirnay liya hai.
