Division is focusing on safety and has initiated the implementation of the Kavach safety system. This automatic train protection system utilizes radio frequency identification devices to help prevent train accidents, especially during adverse weather conditions. The system will also assist in preventing collisions by stopping two trains from colliding on the same track. The division has also embarked on the Amrit Bharat scheme, focusing on developing 15 stations, including Katras and Gomoh, with modern facilities. The Dhanbad Division has been ranked number one for eight consecutive months in terms of loading and revenue generation. The division loaded over 122 million tons of goods and earned approximately 17000 crores rupees from April to November. The division is aiming to break its own records in the remaining four months of the fiscal year. Other key initiatives include the closure of 20 level crossings by March, the construction of limited height subways as alternatives to level crossings, weekly open forums with employees on Fridays, road repairs in the railway colony, and the installation of ATMs at Katras, Koderma, Daltonganj, Pahaड़pur, and Garhwa Road stations. A 10 KV rooftop solar plant is being installed at the Parasnath station.
