The metro system has seen a surge in ridership due to Ganesh festivities, with Khairatabad station recording 94,000 passengers on Saturday. HMR is requesting passengers to cooperate with security personnel and practice self-discipline to prevent stampedes. Additionally, eight MMTS special trains will operate between various destinations in the twin cities between 10 pm on September 17th and 4 am on September 18th, with specific schedules listed in the press release.
