Even KJM DLS is been upgraded to ELS because of PC Mohan who insisted to setup an ELS at Banaswadi but it will be at KJM and BAND will be a MEMU shed. And now if KLBG comes under SWR then 95% of thr requirements of Karnataka regarding rail infrastructure will be fulfilled. MoSR also pressurised officials to upgrade tracks in SBC UBL section and run trains at 130 kmph by 2022 after completion of doubling and electrification.
Between Ubl to Alnawar poles have been laid for almost entire stretch. Between Bgm to mrj for entire stretch poles have been laid leaving few kms inbetween. This work was done by PGCIL's contracts so tender was not released
