Ashok Rathod are in critical condition, while Sunita Rathod and another worker received first aid and were discharged. The cause of the accident is still being investigated, but Konkan Railway has formed a three-member committee to determine the circumstances. Authorities have assured that the affected workers will receive all due compensation. The Khed police have launched an inquiry and conducted a panchanama at the site.
