The Vikramshila Express has been in service for 47 years, having been inaugurated on March 6, 1977, and undergoing various upgrades, including the introduction of LHB coaches and electric locomotives, and a speed increase to 130 km/h. It is considered one of the best trains in the Malda zone and is expected to receive further upgrades in the future.

Vikramshila Express 47 saal se service mein hai, jiska inauguration 6 March 1977 ko hua tha. Isne kai upgrades bhi hue hain, jisme LHB coaches aur electric locomotives lagna aur speed 130 km/h tak badhana shamil hai. Ye Malda zone ki best trains mein se ek maani jaati hai aur future mein ise aur bhi upgrades milenge.
