a cost of ₹350 crores. * Remodelling of the Sindri Marshalling Yard and construction of a 3 km connecting line to Sindri Town at a cost of ₹63 crores. * Doubling of the 8 km Jamuniatand-Chandrapura section at a cost of ₹167 crores. * Construction of a 7.2 km rail over line from Patratu to Tokisud at a cost of ₹138 crores. * Construction of a 7.27 km 'W' connection line from Kuju to Ranchi Road at a cost of ₹143 crores. * Construction of a 28 km line from Dhanbad to Chandrapura at a cost of ₹479 crores, providing an alternative route for the DC line. * Construction of a 305 km double track line from Sonnagar to Andal at a cost of ₹12,334 crores, previously under the Dedicated Freight Corridor agency but now being handled by the Railways.
