The Bhor railway ghat cuts a distance of 21 km between Khandala and Karjat. There are 28 tunnels spread across the ghat.

Seen here is the Pune-Karjat-Pune Shuttle emerging out of the Bhor Ghat tunnels surrounded by dense greenery , water falls and one of the oldest viaducts built by the Britishers during the inception of Poona - Bombay Railway line which was open to traffic in 1856 . The viaduct is more than 150 years old and considered as a Engineering Marvel still standing strong .
