A drunken Indian Army soldier, Devendra Dutt, was arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) at Samastipur Junction while traveling on the 20503 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express. Four bottles of alcohol were found in his bag during the search. Despite attempting to intimidate the GRP officers, he was taken into custody and sent to jail. The incident was reported by fellow passengers, who alerted the train ticket examiner (TTE) and Railway Protection Force (RPF).
