An empty local train in Mumbai derailed while entering a car shed, causing temporary disruption to Western Railway services on Sunday afternoon. Central Station, blocking the slow tracks for Virar and Borivali-bound trains. The coaches were put back on track at around 4:30 PM, restoring services by 5:35 PM. Sixty services were cancelled due to the derailment. The derailment occurred near the same location where a similar incident took place last October. While train services were restored, a speed restriction of 30 kmph was imposed between Mumbai Central and Mahalaxmi stations.

Mumbai Central Station ke platform 1 ke paas derail ho gaye, jisse Virar aur Borivali jaane wali slow tracks block ho gayi. Coaches ko lagabhag 4:30 PM par track par la diya gaya, jisse services 5:35 PM tak restore ho gayi. Is derailment ki wajah se 60 services cancel karni padi. Yeh derailment usi jagah hua jahan October mein aisa hi incident ho gaya tha. Train services restore hone ke baad bhi, Mumbai Central aur Mahalaxmi stations ke beech 30 kmph ki speed restriction laga di gayi.
