compensation remains unpaid. The farmers have staged protests, including a hunger strike by Sanjay Bijore Patil, but their pleas have been ignored. The farmers have now submitted a memorandum demanding compensation for their land improvements. The land has not been used for the railway project yet and the farmers are allowed to cultivate crops for the current season. However, with the harvest approaching in the next ten to fifteen days, the farmers are demanding that the railway work be halted until the harvesting is complete.

Sanjay Bijore Patil ne chhatrapati shivaji maharaj chowk pe hunger strike bhi kiya, but administration ne letter likhne ke baad bhi abhi tak farmers ko compensation nahin mila. Isse angry farmers ne sub divisional officer office mein memorandum submit kiya hai, jisme land improvement ke liye compensation maanga gaya hai. Acquired land pe abhi tak railway ka koi kaam nahi hua, farmers ko current season mein crop cultivate karne ki permission hai, but aage ke 10-15 days mein harvest honi hai, toh farmers demand kar rahe hain ki railway ka kaam harvesting complete hone tak ruk jaye.
