new three-story station building, a 108-meter-wide sky concourse with a rooftop plaza, a five-level parking structure, and a subterranean parking lot. The project will also feature designated entry and exit lanes for easy vehicle movement. A 5,000 kV solar power plant will be set up as part of the project. This redevelopment is part of a larger effort to upgrade railway infrastructure in Telangana, which has seen the addition of 346 km of new railway lines and 383 km of double, third, and fourth lines in the last decade. Secunderabad station has become a key hub for the Indian Railways, hosting the second-highest number of Vande Bharat Express services after New Delhi.
