yard or organize it better. The proposal was made by the city's MLA Atul Bhansali, who says work will start soon after the government's approval. As part of a cleanliness campaign, a mega cleanup operation was conducted at the station's second entry gate, with the MLA participating alongside railway personnel. To temporarily address the situation, barricades have been placed to separate the dumping yard from the main road, directing garbage trucks behind the barricades. Meanwhile, the South Zone of the Jodhpur Municipal Corporation has appealed to devotees visiting the Pal Balaji temple to avoid using plastic bags and use cloth or paper bags instead. The corporation also distributed these bags to the devotees. As part of the cleanliness campaign, health check-up camps are being organized for sanitation workers in different locations. The North Zone of the corporation organized a health check-up camp in Pratapnagar, where 224 workers were examined and given advice. The corporation also organized an exhibition of products made from waste materials by self-help groups at the Clock Tower. These products included handcrafted diaries, pillow covers, photo frames, plastic bottles repurposed as flower pots, and decorative items. The corporation also commissioned 30,000 kg of lining colors from the SHG women, using flowers. These colors will be distributed across all wards for use in lining and rangoli during festivals.
