violating Railway Board guidelines and forcing running staff to work beyond permissible limits. The protest specifically targeted the long duty hours imposed on loco pilots and assistant loco pilots, with demands for a 46-hour rest period, an end to the withholding of overtime payments, and other benefits enjoyed by other railway employees. The protest highlighted the disparity in rest periods between loco pilots and other railway staff, and demanded the release of withheld overtime allowances, which have been pending since 2021. The protest also included a call for ensuring safety by limiting duty to two consecutive nights and advocating for various other demands, including the implementation of the 8th pay commission and providing risk allowance to assistant loco pilots.

Protest mein specifically loco pilots aur assistant loco pilots par lagae gaye lambi duty hours ko target kiya gaya, jisme 46 ghante rest period, overtime payments rokne ka ant, aur dusre railway employees ko di jaane wali suvidhao ki maang ki gayi. Protest ne loco pilots aur dusre railway staff ke beech rest periods mein aantar ko highlight kiya aur withheld overtime allowances ko release karne ki maang ki, jo 2021 se pending hain. Protest mein safety ensure karne ke liye duty ko consecutive do raaton tak simit karne ka bhi call diya gaya aur dusre maangon ke liye bhi advocated kiya gaya, jisme 8th pay commission ka implementation aur assistant loco pilots ko risk allowance provide karna shamil hai.
