According to the officers, the dog units are led by Kamal Krishna Das. He explained that dogs have a sense of smell 20 times stronger than humans and can find hidden items within one to two minutes. The SSB Dog Training Center, located in the Derra village of the Raeni area in Alwar district, spreads across approximately 100 acres. It gained recognition for its expertise, efficiency, and discipline. Established in 2013, the center has trained dogs that serve in Nepal, Bhutan, Jammu & Kashmir, Ranchi, and other states, providing protection and ensuring security. The facility includes a canal for the dogs and barracks for the personnel. The training center currently houses Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, Belgian Shepherds, and puppies. Breeding activities have also commenced at the center. The dogs currently undergoing training belong to various security agencies, including the police.

Iske baad varsh 2013 mein kendra ka shubharambh hua. Is prashikshan kendra mein prashikshit prapt shwan Nepal, Bhutan, Jammu Kashmir, Ranchi, sahit anya rajyon mein badi sajgata aur kushlata se desh ki raksha ke liye apni sevaen de rahe hain.
