The project for the Korba-Ambikapur line has received 16.75 crore rupees from the central government for survey and DPR creation. The approval of the final surveys means that work on these projects will begin soon, bringing the benefits of rail connectivity to remote areas, particularly those with tribal populations. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed gratitude to the central government, particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, for this development.
