trackmen to work. The Western Central Railway zone claims that all passenger trains across India now have bio-toilets, eliminating the discharge of untreated waste on tracks, significantly reducing infections like E-coli among track workers. Developed jointly by the Indian Railways and DRDO in 2010, the bio-toilets convert solid waste into biogas and clean water using bacterial inoculum. Over 250,000 bio-toilets have been installed in over 95% of trains, preventing the discharge of over 274,000 liters of human waste onto tracks. Every three months, the bio-toilet tanks are refilled with 10 liters of bacteria, which convert waste into gas and liquid. The liquid is then treated with chlorine and released safely.

Har ek toilet mein 120 liters liquid bacteria use kiya jaata hai, total 54,000 liters. Isse stations aur tracks bahut saaf ho gaye...

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
