Mumbai: Railway staff dies on-duty at CSMT Station

A 23-year-old railway employee, Suraj Seth, died on duty at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus station in Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon. concerns about manpower shortage and lack of supervision in Indian Railways. Seth was hired on compensation grounds following the death of his father, also a railway employee. The Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav, announced that over INR 1,08,000 crore will be allocated for safety improvements from the INR 2,62,000 crore railway budget for 2024-25.

Seth ko uske papa, jo ek railway employee the, ki death ke baad, compensation pe hire kiya gaya tha. Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav ne Tuesday ko Delhi mein ek press conference mein announce kiya ki 2024-25 budget mein diye gaye INR 2,62,000 crore mein se, INR 1,08,000 crore se zyada safety category ke liye allocate kiya jaayega.
