The Puri-Rishikesh Utkal Express, covering seven states, also has waiting lists for all classes from October 11th. Experts state that Tatanagar station sees approximately 20,000 passengers daily from 41 long-distance train pairs, but securing confirmed seats on trains from Tatanagar to Patna, Gorakhpur, Jammu, Banaras, Chennai, Bengaluru, Yashwantpur, Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Anand Vihar, and Delhi is challenging throughout the year. The influx of passengers due to weddings, government job recruitment exams, and other reasons during the festive season will exacerbate the seating shortage. To alleviate the situation, the South Eastern Railway Zone will run special trains and add sleeper and third AC coaches to existing trains during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath. Reports about waiting lists and RAC status are sent to the zone headquarters, leading to the decision to operate special trains. Sources indicate that special trains to Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, and Anand Vihar will be run during Durga Puja, while extra coaches will be added to trains from Ara, Buxar, Chhapra, Katihar, and Amritsar to accommodate travelers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Lekin Tatanagar se Patna, Gorakhpur, Jammu, Banaras, Chennai, Bengaluru, Yashwantpur, Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Anand Vihar aur Delhi ki trains me passengers ko saal bhar kisi bhi category me confirm seat nahi milti hai. Puja ki bheed me achanak shaadi ke lagan, government naukri ki bahali exam aur other reasons se travel karne walon ko seat ki jyada dikkat hogi. Passengers ko seat dene ke liye South Eastern Railway Zone Durga Puja se Diwali aur Chhath tak different routes pe special trains chalaega aur existing trains me sleeper aur third AC coaches bhi lagaega. Mandal se trains ke anusar, waiting list aur RAC ki status ki report zone headquarters me bheji jati hai. Iske baad puja special train chalane ka order aata hai. Sources ke anusar, Durga Puja ke dauraan railway zone Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur aur Anand Vihar ke liye special trains chalaega aur Ara, Buxar, Chhapra, Katihar aur Amritsar ki trains me extra coaches bhi lagaega, taki Bihar-UP ke passengers ko aawa-jaan me suvidha ho.
