The estimated cost of the project is 474.37 crores, and it will involve the construction of 68 small bridges and one large bridge. The railway will acquire 25.33 acres of land for the construction. The Dhanbad Division has secured the top spot for loading in the financial year 2023-24, surpassing Bilaspur with a record 188.73 million tons of loading. The DRM has also urged the public to be vigilant about protecting the new overhead equipment (OHE) and cabling along the railway lines, as they are often damaged by children playing.

DRM ne logon se appeal ki hai ki woh railway lines ke kinare lage hue naye OHE (Overhead Equipment) aur cabling ko protect karein, kyunki ye aksar bacho ke khelne ke dauran kharab ho jaate hain.
