the North Central Railway, the GDCE was advertised in 2019 and was scheduled to be conducted by RRC Prayagraj. The exam was conducted between August 4th and 6th in 2021 where candidates took the CBT (Computer Based Test). Many candidates achieved scores between 95 and 99 out of 100. The number of candidates scoring highly in Tundla was particularly high. After complaints of paper leak reached the Railway Board and Railway unions raised the issue, the Chairman of RRC Prayagraj issued a notice cancelling the exam. The notice is available on the RRC website. Candidates who took the exam are relieved at the decision, albeit belatedly. The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Central Railway, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, has stated that the new examination date will be announced soon.

Candidates ne tab CBT (Computer Based Test) diya tha. Bahut saare candidates ne 100 marks mein se 95 se 99 marks tak achieve kiye. Tundla mein aise candidates ki sankhya zyada rahi. Paper leak ki complaint Railway Board tak pahunchi. Railway unions ne bhi ye maamla uthaya. Ab RRC Prayagraj ke chairman ne exam cancel karne ka notice jaari kiya hai. Ye notice RRC ki website pe bhi available hai. Exam mein involve hone wale candidates ka kehna hai ki late hi sahi, par humen nyay mil gaya. Is bare mein North Central Railway ke CPRO Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay ne kaha hai ki exam ki nayi date jaldi hi jaari ki jaayegi.
