the section from Chunniganj station to the ramp at McRobertganj, which will finalize the track layout from IIT to Nayaganj on the upline. The downline track from Nayaganj station to Bada Chauraha station is also complete. Construction has begun on Corridor-2's Rawatpur-Double Puliya underground section. Rail laying and welding continues towards the tunnel's end at McRobertganj, and track slab casting has commenced. Corridor 1 (Orange Line) spans 23.8 km with 7 underground and 14 elevated stations, starting at IIT Kanpur and extending to Naubasta. It is expected to be operational by November 2024, serving over 1.5 lakh commuters daily. Corridor 2 (Blue Line) covers 8.9 km with 8 stations from Agriculture University to Barra and is anticipated to be completed by December 2025.

Nayaganj station se Bada Chauraha station tak ka downline track bhi complete ho gaya hai. Corridor-2 ke Rawatpur-Double Puliya underground section mein bhi construction start ho gaya hai. McRobertganj par tunnel ke end tak rail laying aur welding ka kaam continue hai, aur track slab casting bhi start ho gaya hai. Corridor 1 (Orange Line) 23.8 km lamba hai, jisme 7 underground aur 14 elevated stations hain, yeh IIT Kanpur se start hota hai aur Naubasta tak jaata hai. November 2024 tak yeh operational hone ki ummid hai, aur har din 1.5 lakh se zyada commuters ko serve karega. Corridor 2 (Blue Line) 8.9 km lamba hai, jisme 8 stations hain, yeh Agriculture University se start hota hai aur Barra tak jaata hai, aur December 2025 tak yeh complete hone ki ummid hai.
