other. A complaint was filed by a BTech student, Naman Kumar, who was returning home from Noida. He stated that while ascending the escalator, it abruptly halted and then sped up, leading to multiple injuries, including a cut to his ear. He was subsequently taken to Safdarjung Hospital where his ear was reattached. The Delhi Metro authorities confirmed a technical malfunction in the escalator, resulting in the incident. The police have registered a case under IPC sections 287 (negligent conduct with respect to machinery) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others). An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the malfunction and the responsibility of those involved in maintaining the escalator.

Unhe Safdarjung Hospital le jaaya gaya, jahaan unke kaan ko fir se jod diya gaya. Delhi Metro authorities ne confirm kiya ki escalator mein technical problem thi. Police ne IPC ke section 287 aur 337 ke tahat case register kiya hai. Police investigation chal rahi hai ki technical problem kya thi aur escalator ke maintenance mein involve logon ki kya responsibility thi.
