significantly during the election period. Most of these workers are from states like Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Jharkhand. CMRL officials expect the workers to return by the end of May. While the shortage has impacted project progress, the CMRL is managing with available resources and prioritizing the completion of the Poonamallee to Porur stretch of corridor 4. Contractors are facing challenges in hiring local workers due to higher costs and the need for trained personnel.

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) ke Phase II Project ke construction sites pe worker ki kami aa gayi hai, kyunki Lok Sabha election mein vote dena ke liye hundreds of migrant workers apne ghar wapas chale gaye hain. Normal mein, 116 km ke Phase II network pe 20,000 workers lagte...

hain, lekin election ke time pe unki number bahut kam ho gayi hai. Zyaadaatar workers Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, aur Jharkhand jaise states se hain. CMRL officials ke mutabiq, workers May ke end tak wapas aa jaayenge. Halanki project ke progress pe asar pada hai, CMRL available resources se manage kar raha hai aur corridor 4 ke Poonamallee se Porur tak ke stretch ko jaldi complete karne pe focus kar raha hai. Contractors ko local workers hire karne mein problem aa rahi hai kyunki unka cost zyada hai aur trained personnel ki jaroorat hai.
