allowing ticket booking from outside the station premises. Previously, passengers could only book unreserved tickets or platform tickets within a 20km radius of the station. The UTS app, launched in 2014 by CRIS, allows users to book unreserved train tickets, cancel tickets, book seasonal tickets, renew passes, and purchase platform tickets. It aims to eliminate the need for passengers to queue for printed card tickets (PCTs) for local train travel or platform visits.

restriction waise hi rahega, jisse aap sirf station premises ke bahar se hi ticket book kar sakte hain. Pehle, passengers sirf station ke 20km ke andar hi unreserved tickets ya platform tickets book kar sakte the. Ab yeh restriction hat gaya hai. UTS app, jo 2014 mein CRIS dwara launch kiya gaya tha, unreserved train tickets book karne, tickets cancel karne, seasonal tickets book karne, passes renew karne, aur platform tickets kharidne ki suvidha deta hai. Isse passengers ko local train travel ya platform visit ke liye printed card tickets (PCTs) kharidne ke liye lambi queue mein lagne se bacha jaata hai.
