In December 2023, CIDC conducted an inspection of the construction of Lucknow Metro's underground-elevated metro station and Transport Nagar depot. Lucknow Metro holds the distinction of starting metro operations on the North-South Corridor (CCS Airport to Munshipulia) 36 days ahead of schedule. This corridor features 21 metro stations. A total of 380 construction institutions applied for the Vishwakarma Award, and winners were selected after scrutiny. The Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., Sushil Kumar, expressed his delight at the award and extended special congratulations to the civil team. He highlighted that Lucknow Metro had completed the construction of the underground metro station at CCS Airport in a record time of 19 months and 10 days, securing a place in the Limca Book of Records.

Lucknow Metro ne North-South Corridor (CCS Airport se Munshipulia) pe metro operations, schedule se 36 din pehle start karke record banaaya hai. Is corridor mein 21 metro stations hain. Vishwakarma Award ke liye 380 construction institutions ne apply kiya tha, aur scrutiny ke baad winners ko puraskar diya gaya. Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. ke Managing Director Sushil Kumar ne award milne pe khushi dikhayi aur civil team ko khass taur pe congratulate kiya. Unhone bataya ki Lucknow Metro ne CCS Airport pe underground metro station ka construction, 19 months aur 10 days ke record time mein complete kiya, aur Limca Book of Records mein apna naam register karaya.
