Ten local trains between Mokama, Jasidih, Deoghar, and Asansol were cancelled. Long-distance trains were reported to be delayed. Train operations resumed in both directions at 5 pm on Sunday. Passengers faced significant inconvenience due to the delays and cancellations. The Vande Bharat Express (Patna-Howrah) was delayed by six hours, the Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat by three and a half hours, the Patna-Howrah Express by nine and a quarter hours, the Howrah-Patna Special by three and a half hours, the Delhi-Howrah Poorva Express by six hours and twenty minutes, the Patna-Dhanbad Intercity by four and a half hours, the Buxar-Tatanagar Superfast by seven and a half hours, and the Nagaland Express by eight and a half hours.
