The District Magistrate instructed the SDM of Nainital to convene a joint meeting with officials from Pitkul, UPCL, and the construction company within a week to find a solution. The District Magistrate also instructed the construction company to conduct a joint survey of the land for the Hanuman Garhi ropeway station and all other stations. There will be ropeway stations at Rani Bagh, Bhujia Ghat, Nursery, and Jyolikot between Kathgodam and Hanuman Garhi. A total of 67 towers will be erected along the 6.5 km route. The Kathgodam ropeway station will have parking for 500 vehicles and a 400-meter pedestrian bridge connecting it to the railway station. An e-bus service will be available from the Hanuman Garhi ropeway station. The ropeway will be treated as public transport, with minimal fares.
