a lack of funding, but with the recent allocation of 100 crore rupees for ropeway development in the UP budget, the project is likely to revive. The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) had earlier proposed four ropeway routes, but two were rejected due to concerns about intermingling transport modes. The ropeway is expected to benefit over 20,000 daily commuters, reducing traffic congestion on GT Road and providing direct access to residents of Delhi's Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, Shalimar Garden (UP Border), Lohi, Rajendranagar, Shaheed Park, Mohan Nagar, and Hindan Air Base.

Funding ki kami ke wajah se project ruk gaya tha, but ab UP budget mein ropeway ke liye 100 crore rupees allocate karne se, project jaldi shuru hone ki ummeed hai. GDA ne pehle four ropeway routes ka proposal diya tha, but do routes metro ke sath mix hone ke karan reject kar diye gaye. Ye project 20,000 se zyada daily commuters ko fayda dega, aur GT Road par traffic jam kam hoga. Iske alawa, Delhi ke Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, Shalimar Garden (UP Border), Lohi, Rajendranagar, Shaheed Park, Mohan Nagar, aur Hindan Air Base ke residents ko bhi isse direct benefit milega.
