Feasibility study khatam hone pe, DMRC final project report KMRL ko submit karega, jisko State government approve karega. Project ke pehle phase mein 27.4 km ka stretch hai Pallipuram Technocity se Pallichal tak, aur dusre phase mein 14.7 km ka stretch hai Killipalam se Kazhakoottam tak. Project ka maqsad Thiruvananthapuram mein urban connectivity ko improve karna hai.
