Mumbai Local News: 15% Drop In Deaths Due To Overcrowded Trains in 2023

159 deaths and CR reporting 431 deaths in 2023. The decrease is attributed to new safety measures implemented by railway authorities, including the addition of 11 new suburban services by WR, increasing the total number of services to 1,394. The number of suburban services with 15 coaches also increased, leading to a 25% rise in carrying capacity on 67 suburban routes. WR introduced 96 close-door air-conditioned train services, a 21% increase from 2022, while CR replaced ten non-airconditioned suburban services with close-door air-conditioned services.

maut ki tadad kam hui hai, WR mein 159 aur CR mein 431 maut hui hai. Isme kami ka credit railway authorities ki taraf se liye gaye naye safety measures ko jaata hai, jisme WR ki taraf se 11 new suburban services add karne ka kaam bhi shamil hai. Isse services ki total number 1,394 tak pahunch gayi hai. 15 coaches wali suburban services ki number bhi badh gayi hai, jisse 67 suburban routes ki carrying capacity mein 25% ka badhava aaya hai. WR ne 96 close-door air-conditioned train services shuru ki, yeh 2022 ke figures se 21% zyada hai. CR ne bhi kaafi changes kiye, jisme 10 non-airconditioned suburban services ko close-door air-conditioned services se replace karna bhi shamil hai.
