To accommodate the influx of devotees attending the Khichdi Mela, the Indian Railways has implemented special arrangements. Two special trains, the 05025/05026 Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gorakhpur and the 05016/05015 Nautanwa-Gorakhpur-Nautanwa, will operate between Gorakhpur-Barhni and Gorakhpur-Nautanwa respectively during the fair. departing Gorakhpur at 6:40 AM and reaching Barhni at 11:05 PM. The return journey, 05026 Barhni-Gorakhpur Unreserved Special, will operate from 14th to 22nd January 2024, departing Barhni at 5:15 AM and reaching Gorakhpur at 9:50 AM. The 05016 Nautanwa-Gorakhpur Unreserved Special will run from 13th to 21st January 2024, departing Nautanwa at 8:00 PM and reaching Gorakhpur at 11:30 PM. The return journey, 05015 Gorakhpur-Nautanwa Unreserved Special, will operate from 14th to 22nd January 2024, departing Gorakhpur at 2:30 AM and reaching Nautanwa at 5:15 AM. To ensure the safety of passengers, adequate lighting, security personnel, first aid boxes, and passenger assistance booths will be available at all stations.
