Several trains including Neelachal, Sampark Kranti, Rajdhani, Purushottam, Utkal, Haldia, and Santragachhi from Delhi and Anand Vihar often arrive late at Tatanagar. Similarly, trains from Mumbai like Gitajali, Ahmedabad, Kurla and several others are frequently delayed. The delays often lead to passengers from Bengal and Odisha being inconvenienced as trains arrive late the next morning. This issue was raised at the Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Advisory Committee meeting, but railway officials have failed to improve operations despite their assurances.
