Few train slot realignments and new connection needed at MAQ, upon completion of new PF.
1. Adjust arrival of SMVB MAQ to 0700, so that Mysore passengers can catch Ernad to travel to KGQ CAN etc.
2. Take Gomateshwara express to MAQ. There is no point in idling the rake for more than 17 hours. Why can't it be made to have RSA with SMVT MYS MAQ express? Something like YPR 0730 MAQ 1630; Return MAQ 1900 MYS 0400 SMVT 0800. SMVT 1900 MYS 2300 MAQ 0630. Return MAQ 0900 YPR 1730....

3. One of MAQ MAS train should run in shortest route i.e via HAS BAND KJM.
4. Extend one of the two NCJ MAQ trains--Parashuram or Ernad -- to Bangalore. Can have RSA with KCVL MYS express.
5. SCR to run Bidar Mangalore Central express via KLBG RC GTL BAY CTA HAS. Can have RSA with MAQ KCG express.
6. There is no train from west/ north TN to canara coast (Konkan railway). Why can't one of the 4 MAS MAQ go to Karwar, thereby linking pilgrimage towns of Udupi Kundapura (Kollur) Murudeshwara Gokarna?
