Bhopal is in dire need of new Pitlines.
The current Pitlines at BPL CDO are of old design and not suitable for LHB rakes. There are only 2 Pitlines in BPL and out of them only 1 can handle 24 coacher train. It is a need of hour to construct 3 Pitlines at NSZ yard for BPL then transfer the PM of existing trains over there and then redevelop the existing CDO of BPL that way in span of 2-3 years BPL will have new as well as modified Pitlines.

more... RKMP the new 3rd line will be operational in next 2 months, construction is completed the electrical fitting work is going on and after 1 week of testing it will be open for taking trains. For now RKMP needs stabling lines more than that of any extra pitline.
Because of this shortcomings only Bhopal is not getting it's long demanding and pending trains to cities like Bengaluru, Trivendrum, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat,Prayagraj,Varanasi, Patna, Jammutawi.
