Sabari Express travels a long route. The Shortest way from Secunderabad Jn to Thiruvanantapuram Central is via Kacheguda - Kurnool Town - Dhone - Dharmavaram - Yesvantpur - Bangarpet - Salem - Coimbatore - Ernakulam - Kochuveli.
This route is 1446 km.
While the present route of Sabari Express is 1556 km

It would cut short the travel time by atleast 2 hoursЁЯШР. Southern Railways is doing so much injustice to Kerala
Sabari is intended not only to serve Kerala but also imp cities like Salem, Coimbatore in TN, Guntur Tirupati in AP
Sabari is running from long time and is full.throught the year. SCR has proposal to run a new train via KNL Kadapa to kerala but the same is not taken well by SR palghat and Ers division even they didn't allow to speed up Sabari. I feel the present kCG Mangalore slot should be made daily with 2 days to Mangalore 3 days to NGL and another 2 days to ErS making daily and change arrival at KCG to 2000 so that long distance travellers with luggage will find cheaper transport of Auto and cab in HYd to reach their house.
