I have doubt how ER prepares the TT of its trains....many Crawler in ER .....too much stoppages and average speed is also low.......yes those are for intermediate short distance passenger good but not for end to end travelers. Take e.g. of Sealdah-Delhi Upper India exp.....too much travel time and too much stoppages between Sealdah and Delhi...i think hardly someone travel end to end in this train from Sealdah to Delhi where normal superfast, premium trains like Rajdhani takes half the travel time......even i doubt anybody travels in this train from Rampurhat to Delhi in this train......this is for local passengers travelling a distance of 2 to 3 hrs in between. How and by what thinking ER makes these kind of TT. The more the stoppages and lower the average speed the more is the Operating costs of a train.
Note:...
more... I am not against anyone and i feel yes in a big population area these small stoppages for small station is required. But i am just wondering how ER makes so slow TT result in crawlers because nowadays time is a major factor for everyone and i don't think even small station passenger board these trains to travel to Delhi. They just board this train from their small station to a nearby big station then catch a superfast train from there to Delhi.
