SER has many bad points
1. IMPORTANCE NOT GIVEN TO IDENTIFY AND FIND NEW ROUTES TO PROVIDE EMU/MEMUPASSENGER/MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS. LESS IMPORTANT TO PASSENGER TRAINS MORE TO FREIGHT TRAINS.
E.G.: No proper train direct connectivity to DIGHA famous tourist spot from different parys of WB, HALDIA being a big Industrial city very very poor train connectivity no direct emu, memu trains till date from kharagpur, midnapur,purulia,burdwan, etc,etc places of WB, KHARAGPUR has huge potential also no steps to start short and long distance trains from KHARAGPUR TO GUWAHATI, AMRITSAR, NEW DELHI, ...
more... SEALDAH, MALDA, BURDWAN, DIGHA, KATRA JAMMU SIDE, etc, etc.
2. VERY POOR IN EXECUTING AND FINDING NEW TRAIN ROUTES PROJECT WORKS COMPLETION. MANY MANY PROJECTS UNDER KHARAGPUR DIVISION, ADRA DIVISION ARE ON HOLD OR STOPPED FOR YEARS NOW.
e.g. OUR OWN BAGNAN TO AMTA NEW LINE -THOUSANDS TO BUSES, PASSENGER TRAVEL EVERYDAY ON THIS BUT NO TRAIN CONNECTIVITY NO HELDOL TO WORK AND COMPLETE THE PROJECT, DIGHA-JALESWAR PROJECT, TAMLUK-NANDIGRAM PROJECT, BARGACHIA-FURFURA PROJECT, CHATNA-MUKUTMONIPUR PROJECT, etc, etc many many project
3. TAKES LESS INITIATIVE TO RUN NEW TRAINS ROUTES FROM SMALL STATIONS AND LACKS INITIATIVE TO BUILT INFRASTRUCTURE ON THOSE STN TO START NEW TRAINS TO DIFFERENT ROUTES.
e.g. PURULIA HAS HUGE POTENTIAL CAN BUILT PITLINES AND START TRAINS FROM THERE, DIGHA ALSO EAME CAN BUILT PITLINES TO RUN TRAINS TO DIFFERENT ROUTES, BOKARO a big Industrial city lack of train connectivity till now.
Many other bad points are there of SER. I LIKE ER ON THESE ABOVE POINT BECAUSE ER IS VERY GOOD IN ALL THE ABOVE POINTS.
GOOD POINT OF SER
1. CONTROLLING VERY GOOD
2. CLEANLINESS OF STATIONS OF ADRA DIVISION IS GOOD
3. CAN SEE REAL SPEED HERE
