ER,. though a loss making zone has it's Moto to cater passengers. It doesn't care what other zones or RB comments on it's operation. SER is basically a freight zone only. There is no section devoid of freights in SER. When punctuality issues are on monitor, they are ready to hide behind their revenue statistics. See the range of MEMUs that ER has. SER MEMUs make max. till ASN, DHN and SBP outside the zone. So many requests by the local MPs of Jamshedpur, Bankura, Dhanbad, Purulia transforms into garbage. Not even a proper response is received. While in ER during proposed extension of ASN-SDAH Intercity, they were ready to co-operate on a simple note of PM shiftment to ADRA. No alliance by SER, drafted the deal till void. Now, that chance is gone forever.

more... is very well maintained beach which grabs lots of tourist specially during summers. Only one ER train(ASN-Diigha) gives us a hope to make it there. Irony is that even Digha's neighbours Medinipur and Kharagpur have negligible trains to Digha.ЁЯШВ. Many doesn't even know that there exist a Industrial town Haldia on the way too..ЁЯдгЁЯдг
Rather than connecting each other, SER focussed more on connectivity each city/town to eastern financial capital, Kolkata.
