It was proposed and finalized during the time of Mamata Bannerjee but later after govt changed, it didnt recieved much funding like other projects of bengal such as Siuri-Prantik, Khana-Bawaichandi, Sainthia-Chowrigachha, etc
As Shoubhik said, it is one of the many projects which was started but might never see light now. This is similar to project between Belur and Belurmath which lies dead now.
Khana-bowaichandi project i think SER has started work on it recently slowly...in between work was halted.....SIR is there in this forum from Adra div ...i think he can give a detail status on this project of SER
It was proposed to connect Furfura Sharif by Rail....But pore maximum project gulo either fund pai na, or feasible noi bole totally stop kore diachen . Only kichu gulor kaj hoyeche r kichu cholche. Jemon BDR line Masagram e connection hoyeche, TAK-VSU kaj cholche. Baki max tai stop. Pink book eo fund ase na.
