That reminds me about a conversation between my father (A) and his brother-in-law (B) (Incidentally my father-in-law), took place about 5 decades back as narrated by my mother:
(B): We should not eat meat. We should eat only vegetarian food. Green leaves are good for health. We should have more of them.
(A): God has produced the green leaves for the consumption of goats. It is the goats which eat the grass, digest and make them fit for human consumption. We have to eat only the goat and not directly what goats...
more... eat.
As (A), my father was senior, educated and in a Government job, and (B), my father-in-law was young and a student, (A) won the argument and it was unanimously decided that the practice of taking meat once in a week will continue.
