I also felt sad when JTJ - SBC - JTJ section was electrified & trains ran with Eloco
But occasionally 12610 used to hauled by diesel

As per a news report few weeks back, to match the demands of electrification, massive step up of WAP production is being planned... at least 5 more new loco sheds in the next 1 year will be maintaining Electric Locos.
