Point 1. Braganza Ghats is much new BG GC completed in around 1999 under SCR regime.
Point 2. Don't know about Shiradi but also Braganza Ghats not much accidents happened here, most incidents are freight derailments and that too rare, Poorna express derailed few years back but that was an issue with couplers rather than the number of coaches.

Few more words earlier bankers used for passengers were Twin GY Alcos and maximum restriction was 22 coaches maximum now this year bankers upgraded to Twin UBL WDG4 and few days after that upgrade one coach reduced of each train.
Goa express and Amaravati express are two of the most important trains for Goa and heavy rush in these two so 24 coach ICF is must for those two atleast. Also 59 BOXN Wagons are much longer than 24 coach ICF and when loaded heavier too.
If you say Freighters derailment is okay then how wise is to risk the lives if those LPs ?
